Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Headwaters Fitness & Racquet Club and Breast Cancer Canada
This October, Headwaters Racquet Club is excited to support Breast Cancer Canada in the mission to advance research, education, and advocacy. Together, we can improve outcomes for the 30,000 Canadians who will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year.
Together, we’re raising awareness and funding innovative, patient-focused research that drives earlier detection, more effective treatments, and better quality of life.
Our 3rd Annual Team Marathon Row will take place on Saturday, October 18th. Teams of at least 4 will take turns rowing a complete marathon (42,195m).
If you are interested in registering for the event, please contact the front desk!

Breast cancer is the most diagnosed cancer in the world, according to the World Health Organization. In Canada, 1 in 8 women will face a diagnosis in their lifetime.
But breast cancer isn’t just one disease—there are over 50 types, each with unique challenges and complexities. That’s why research matters more than ever.
About Breast Cancer Canada
Breast Cancer Canada is a national charity dedicated to saving lives through breast cancer research. With a focus on precision oncology (personalized care), it is the only national breast cancer organization in Canada that has a clear mandate to raise money for research and advocate and educate on the progress of new research evidence.
Everyday, researchers are working hard to advance our understanding of this disease. To detect it earlier and treat it better. We know research will deliver results. And with your support to raise more funds, a future with no more breast cancer is possible.
