More than 31,000 Canadians will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. And 1 in 8 Canadian women will face a diagnosis in her lifetime.

But breast cancer is not one disease. And there is no one experience of breast cancer.

For one person, a new treatment option could mean avoiding chemotherapy. For another, research could identify a treatment that works better for their particular type of breast cancer. For someone living with metastatic disease, a new option could mean more time. For a person facing a rare subtype, research could mean finally having solutions.

Behind every diagnosis is a person. And every person has different questions, different needs and a different path forward.

We're working to close the gaps.

At Breast Cancer Canada, we’re preparing to fund more research, support more Canadian researchers and bring more patient voices into the work.

Because progress happens when we ask better questions, pursue better solutions and keep moving what is possible forward.

Your support can help make the next steps in progress possible.

With your gift, you can help Canadian researchers pursue discoveries that could give more people affected by breast cancer better options, more personalized care and better outcomes.

We have already changed what breast cancer can mean.

Together, we can change what comes next.

Make a gift this October to fuel breast cancer research in Canada.
