We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Alison Allan, Director of Breast Cancer Canada’s Translational Research Unit at London Health Sciences Centre, has been appointed as the Associate Vice-President (Research) at Western University.

Dr. Allan is a distinguished oncology scientist whose work has made a significant impact on breast cancer research, particularly in the areas of metastasis and the identification of new therapies. Her new role will allow her to further advance health and medical research across London, with a continued focus on breast cancer.

This appointment is a testament to Dr. Allan’s extraordinary contributions to cancer research. We at Breast Cancer Canada are incredibly proud of her achievements and are confident that her leadership and mentorship will continue to drive forward meaningful advancements in the field.
