Breast Cancer Canada Proud to Join the First-Ever Breast Cancer Survivorship & Supportive Care International Conference

Breast cancer survivorship is entering a new era—one where life after treatment is recognized as its own critical phase of care. At Breast Cancer Canada, we believe this chapter deserves as much attention, evidence, and support as diagnosis and treatment.

That’s why we are thrilled to attend the inaugural Breast Cancer Survivorship and Supportive Care International Conference taking place November 28–29, 2025, in Toronto.

This landmark gathering brings together the full circle of care: community-based health professionals, oncology nurses, oncologists, surgeons, occupational therapists, rehabilitation specialists, and the many multidisciplinary experts who support patients long after active treatment ends. Survivorship is a team effort, and this conference recognizes the depth and breadth of that shared responsibility.

Grounded in the latest research and clinical insights, the conference offers a rich lineup designed to strengthen how we collectively support survivors across the continuum of care. Highlights include:

  • 18 interactive breakout sessions exploring precision oncology, digital health innovations, mental wellness, rehabilitation, and other emerging areas shaping survivorship
  • 10 dynamic plenaries focused on the innovations, gaps, and opportunities ahead—from AI in follow-up care to strategies that enhance long-term quality of life
  • Networking opportunities and expert-led conversations that spark collaboration across disciplines

As a national organization committed to advancing personalized breast cancer care, we’re looking forward to connecting with leaders in survivorship, sharing insights from our research and patient-reported outcomes work, and learning how we can continue improving support for people living with and beyond breast cancer.
This conference marks an important moment for the future of survivorship in Canada—and we’re honoured to be part of it.
